The Empire of Steel is the most territorially aggressive state in contemporary Thindul. The Aeohtar lords of the Steel Empire once commanded a modest kingdom in the northern mountains, which descended southward as far as Veldzazos and the River Garazan. Through gradual conquest, they came to possess the city of horned men, Ordikai Anakis, as well as the elven lake cities, and the wilderness south of the Zarrakas Uplands. They have long coveted The Passage, lying just west of their Empire, through the Sunset Pass, and have warred more than once with the gnomish kingdom of Norquii to their east.
